Dr. Amanda Hensley, DVM, is a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian who has been part of the Banfield team since 2021. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (class of 2010), a Master of Public Health from Colorado School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech. Dr. Hensley is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, bringing a holistic and integrative approach to veterinary care.
Her professional passion lies in providing exceptional pain management and specialized care for senior pets, ensuring their golden years are comfortable and fulfilling. Dr. Hensley is deeply committed to improving quality of life through tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of aging animals.
Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Hensley enjoys hiking, gardening, and writing.
