Derrick Craft, DVM

Dr. Derrick Craft joined the Banfield team in 2023 as a Veterinarian. He is dedicated to preventing disease and suffering in animals and finds great satisfaction in returning sick pets to a happy and healthy condition. Dr. Craft earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Mississippi State University in 2013. Prior to that, he attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he obtained degrees in biology and chemistry. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Craft has a passion for building and racing cars and motorcycles, as well as riding horses. He cares for an impressive menagerie of animals at home, including eight dogs, five cats, two horses, a cow, a kangaroo, a sulcata tortoise, a Coatimundi, and a fennec fox.
