Stefania Wilcox, DVM

Dr. Stefania Wilcox brings a variety of knowledge and experience to our practice, with sixteen years of experience in small animal medicine. She grew up in Connecticut and received her undergraduate education from the University of Connecticut. As a graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, Dr. Wilcox received a commission in the United States Army Veterinary Corps. Dr. Wilcox spent seven years on active duty as a Veterinary Corps Officer including time deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She moved to private practice in 2016 working as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Wilcox earned her Masters of Organizational Leadership in 2025 from Columbus State University and transitioned from clinical practice to becoming a doctor mentor in Banfield’s new mentorship program. Her husband still serves with the US Army and her daughter just began the adventure that is kindergarten. In her free time, Dr. Wilcox enjoys spending time outdoors, helping with her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop, and gardening.
